In 2016 the Tides Center, on the recommendation of the Lumina Foundation divisions for Strategy Labs Technical Assistance and Policy Academy Funds, awarded the NDUS Foundation a grant of $8,050 for the purposes of convening the Envision 2030 project.
The Envision 2030 process began in 2016 with industry leaders from all backgrounds meeting to discuss the future of education in North Dakota. Participants envisioned what education would look like in the year 2030 from the needs of the students to the changing workforce. From there, working groups have been focused on implementing the short-term, mid-term and long-term goals generated from the discussion.
