In July 2018 Palo Alto Networks based in California announced an educational collaboration with Bismarck State College. The company, a global cybersecurity leader, is focusing attention on the Cybersecurity and Computer Networks program both online and in the classroom at the capital city based campus. The NDUS Foundation played a key role in facilitating the collaboration. The support from a statewide entity as well as officials at the state government level, including Governor Doug Burgum, was critical for these two entities to come together in efforts to increase this programming for the entire state.
